  1. And of course the article goes straight to evil uses: “This means if you can look at the zinc spark at the time of fertilization, you will know immediately which eggs are the good ones to transfer in in vitro fertilization”

    • That’s how it was discovered. I heard Dr. Bruchalski talking about it 12 years ago in a talk he gave at St. William of York, from his days at the IVF clinic.

    • I saw it, and commented. Her argument is kind of a straw man. Yes maybe some take it as “proof of the soul,” but my point is that it’s proof of *life*. She insists it doesn’t make a difference because the same thing happens with animal embryos. To me, that just adds the proof that it signals the beginning of life.
