“The will of God won’t ever lead you where the grace of God can’t keep you.”

Thanks for the learning and teaching of these past years (for it works both ways for both of us). It’s always a struggle to know how to be loving, in the classroom or out, but I believe the answer lies in knowing and doing the Lord’s will. Inasmuch as you’ve allowed me to share in that struggle — giving the ‘hardware’ and sharing the ‘software’ of life — a part of me goes with you, and you will always have a place in my heart and my prayers. Pray for me in my struggles, too. Stay close to Jesus and never forget:

The will of God won’t ever lead you
Where the grace of God can’t keep you.

May God lead you & love you,
Fr. L
