We won’t do animal research, but we’ll do stem cell research on animals

It’s unclear whether they’re talking about using human cells on animals or animal cells on animals.

The article is kind of interesting, though. It actually explains the difference between using embryonic and adult stem cells, with the usual tagline that “adult stem cells aren’t as effective,” or whatever.

But then it goes on to say, “These are the animal’s own cells.” If they are the animal’s own cells, then they have to be adult stem cells.
